Growing Simply Beautiful Flowers
Here at Starlight Cottage we have a passion for all things floral! With a special love for old English roses full of scent, as well as masses of foliage and wildflowers. We host skills workshops and also work with local florists and wedding stylists. Our flowers are always seasonal, direct from the grower (us!) and with a strong focus on the surrounding ecosystem benefits.

What makes Starlight Cottage Flowers different?
Today 90% of the flowers sold through UK florists, supermarkets and wholesalers are imported not just from Holland but flown from as far afield as Ecuador, Colombia, Kenya and even Ethiopia. Buying seasonal British flowers means fewer air miles, plus you are supporting local businesses. Here at Starlight Cottage we grow our flowers without chemicals and in tune with nature. They provide a wonderful habitat and often the buzz from the bees can be deafening. There is an informal, ‘just picked’ country garden look to our bouquets and since we grow old English roses and lots of scented plants, it is a treat for the nose as well as the eyes! We focus on fragrance, beauty and simplicity.
